POST-TREATMENT CARE
-
Avoid wearing makeup on the day of your peel.
-
Refrain from exercise and extreme temperatures for 24 hours post-peel.
-
Cleanse with warm water, using only a mild cleanser and fingertips or Dew Puff. Avoid washcloths.
-
Follow with a gentle moisturizer and sunscreen. Our Post Treatment Lineup offers products free of dyes/fragrances/parabens/dimethicone for optimal recovery.
-
Resist peeling, scratching, picking, or rubbing the treated skin. Use mild hydrocortisone cream if itching occurs.
-
Avoid abrasive scrubs, cleansers, or cloths for the next 10-14 days.
-
Wait at least 2 weeks post-treatment before scheduling airbrush or spray-on tanning to ensure proper healing.
-
Apply a physical SPF (zinc oxide or titanium dioxide-containing) in the morning and as needed throughout the day. Shield the newly peeled skin from the sun with protective clothing.
-
Continue daily sunscreen use for 2 months after the peel to minimize sun exposure-related discoloration.
-
Avoid applying retinoids, benzoyl peroxides, glycolic, or beta hydroxy acids to your skin for 7-10 days.
-
Refrain from laser hair removal, waxing, microdermabrasion, or facial treatments for 1 month post-peel.
-
Contact the provider immediately for any signs of infection, abnormal symptoms, or adverse events.
You may resume your pre-peel skincare routine once the skin returns to baseline, typically around day 7-14.
